The Thaw Out 2021 at Darlington Dragway

So let’s kick off the 2021 no prep season in SC a little earlier!!!! With Palmetto No Prep first big event in May 2021, we needed an event to get ready and what better than to kick it off with “The Thaw Out”!!!!! This will be the first time for racers to get on the back of the track “street side” surface at the legendary Darlington Dragway in Hartsville, SC!!!!!
Racer parking will begin on Friday February 26th, 2021 with the main race taking place on Saturday February 27th, 2021!!!!
We will only feature two classes with this race with limited entry fields. The first two classes to hit the backside of Darlington will be:
•Small Tire (28×10.5 Non W): $300 Entry ($100 non refundable lock in), 64 Car Max. At 64 cars, $20,000 Pot
•Big Tire (Anything With Doors): $300 Entry ($100 non refundable lock in), 32 Car Max. At 32 Cars, $10,000 Pot
It will be a flash light start, pour your own puddle race. I will be creating the event page tomorrow with all the rules and information. Lock ins will begin January 4th, 2021 at first come first serve on Darlington’s website at www.racedarlingtondragway.com. Spread the word cause this is gonna be the start of some of the baddest back of the track, no prep action to hit South Carolina!!!!!!
